You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and remain responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to: use the Service in violation of any law; upload personal data you do not have the right or a lawful basis to use; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; or use it to send spam or unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

As between you and CandiLite, you own the data you submit, including candidate records you upload (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide, operate, maintain and secure the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, notices, and lawful basis to upload and process candidate personal data, and for using the Service in compliance with applicable employment, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws. We process Customer Data as described in our Privacy Policy. When you publish jobs or collect applications through a CandiLite careers portal, you are responsible for the posting, screening questions, applicant notices and hiring decisions. Applicants can submit information without creating a CandiLite account. Portal applications remain separate from candidate profiles until your team chooses to add or link them.

The Service uses AI to extract and organize resume and job information, draft matching criteria, and compare candidates with jobs. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided to assist your own judgment, not replace it. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output and for any hiring decisions you make, and you should not rely solely on AI features to make employment decisions. This includes checking accuracy, relevance and potential bias. You are responsible for determining and meeting any candidate-notice, consent, assessment or audit obligations that apply to your use of hiring technology. Human review does not by itself remove those obligations. Resume Refresh processing also uses these AI features; recruiters review proposed changes before accepting them.

Access requires an active trial, paid subscription or access explicitly granted by CandiLite. Account requests require approval and do not authorize a charge. Prices, included usage, subscription terms and renewal details are presented before you complete checkout.

14-day Solo trial. A card is required. The trial starts when checkout is completed after account approval. Unless you cancel through your subscription settings before the trial ends, the subscription automatically becomes monthly Solo at $29/month plus applicable taxes. Cancellation during the trial preserves access until its end date and avoids the first subscription charge.

The trial is for one user with separate usage limits described on the pricing page. Trial allowances do not renew or carry over into paid allowances. The first-year Solo promotional offer is a separate paid option and is not available after starting a trial.

Paid subscriptions and cancellation. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price confirmed at checkout unless canceled. Annual plans are charged upfront for the year. The Primary Admin can manage or cancel the subscription under Organization in the app. Cancel before the next renewal to stop future subscription charges; paid access continues until the end of the current billing period. Stopping use of the Service does not cancel billing. If you cannot access subscription settings, contact billing@candilite.com for help. Cancellation does not automatically issue a refund or delete your records.

Renewals and changes. The Solo first-year offer has its own first-year allowance and renewal terms, shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout. We will give advance notice before a subscription price change applies to your renewal. Team plans charge for paid seats with a two-seat minimum; every internal user needs a paid seat. Contact billing support about changes to your plan or seat count. The price and effective date of a change must be confirmed before it takes effect.

Refund requests. For monthly or annual subscription charges and Candi purchases, email billing@candilite.com to request a refund. Requests are reviewed individually and require approval; no automatic refund or money-back window is promised. This does not limit rights required by applicable law. A confirmed Candi purchase refund removes only unused Candis from that purchase; used or pending amounts require review.

Candis. Included Candis reset monthly and do not roll over. Purchased Candis are used after included Candis and do not expire while your account exists; an eligible active subscription is required to use them. Additional Candis and applicable taxes are separate from the subscription price.

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by CandiLite and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as hosting and AI processing) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CandiLite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.

You agree to indemnify and hold CandiLite harmless from claims arising out of your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time, but must separately cancel your subscription as described in Section 6 to stop renewal charges. Subscription cancellation does not itself close your account or erase your recruiting records. Your Primary Admin can export retained organization records and stored attachments under Organization → Export your data, including after commercial subscription access ends. Administrative suspensions may require support review. Export the data you need before requesting account closure or deletion.

Contact hello@candilite.com to request account closure or discuss deletion of retained data. We handle retention and deletion as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal obligations. Purchased Candis require an eligible active subscription to spend; do not close your account without first contacting billing support about any unused purchased balance.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
