You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and remain responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to: use the Service in violation of any law; upload personal data you do not have the right or a lawful basis to use; attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; or use it to send spam or unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

As between you and CandiLite, you own the data you submit, including candidate records you upload (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, notices, and lawful basis to upload and process candidate personal data, and for using the Service in compliance with applicable employment, privacy, and anti-discrimination laws. We process Customer Data as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service uses AI to extract and organize information from resumes. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided to assist your own judgment, not replace it. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output and for any hiring decisions you make, and you should not rely solely on AI features to make employment decisions.

The Service is currently provided free of charge during early access. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, we will provide notice and the applicable pricing and terms before you are charged.

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Customer Data), is owned by CandiLite and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as hosting and AI processing) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CandiLite will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100.

You agree to indemnify and hold CandiLite harmless from claims arising out of your Customer Data, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
